Wentworth Gardens
Wentworth Woodhouse was once the centre of a vast estate which contained large and beautiful gardens. Some of the garden area parted from the estate and the house a while back and are now attached to Wentworth Garden Centre. The Garden Centre itself covers a considerable acreage which is still being developed. There is the centre itself with an extensive sales areas for plants, garden furniture, ornaments, conservatories, then there are craft workshops, a family farm, pet and aquatic shop and a restaurant.

From 1 March 2011 a small charge will be levied for access to the Historic Gardens. Charges will apply from 1 March - 31 October each year with the gardens being open from 10am - 4.30pm. They will be open 1 November - 28 February each year from 10am - 4pm on a donation basis. It is a lovely old garden with some very pretty features and there are occasional concerts and plays held here. Lots of places for picnic on a nice day. Plenty of parking at the Garden Centre.

There are also areas of the garden including the Magnolia House which are not open to the public.
