Rotherham Villages
The term 'Rotherham Villages' is all-encompassing. In fact the 'villages' can be hamlets with a few houses, decent size villages that deserve the name, districts and areas that have a name but have never really been villages, housing estates and towns in their own right.
For those of you who might wonder just how I have sorted these into sections there is method in my madness. Originally I was going to review the areas of the Borough ward by ward as it easy to get your hands on list of wards, but who knows which is Park or St Johns? As these do not appear on most maps its a mystery to me let alone anyone else. As for the villages - they have been grouped on the pages roughly according to area. You may take exception to these groupings - Hard ched!
My knowledge of and information about some of these areas is sketchy. Equally I can't guarantee that the information is up to date. I would like to expand many of these pages and I need your help. So if you live in any of these villages and would like to contribute:–
