Wentworth Family Farm

There used to be a Falconry Centre here which I thoroughly enjoyed visiting. This has now metamorphosed into a Country Farm, with various rare breeds on display. The bunnies used to run around the garden centre with little children and dogs in hot pursuit. The ones we met were not remotely scared of the dog but the kids were another matter. I think that they are confined to a 'Bunny Barn' these days. Lots of fun for kids. Entrance fee.

Review

We had a day off work in October 2008 and since the weather was nice so we decided to visit Wentworth for a walk and a look around and strolled down to see the farm. I have to say that after the Butterfly Farm it was a big disappointment, although at £1.90 for adults it is a lot, lot cheaper. There are lots of friendly animals all of them waiting for you to feed them and disappointed when you don't. There is an indoor play area for children, but it is much smaller and much less interesting than the Butterfly Farm; that is speaking as an adult. Wentworth Family Farm is very much aimed at children and young ones at that. There were school groups of 4 - 6 year olds and and my guinea pig (female, blond and aged 6) though it was great.
