Downs Row
Downs Row is a little cobbled street just off Moorgate. A flight of steps goes down by the side of the Chapel Hall to join up with Oil Mill fold off Westgate. There is another building off to the right of the Chapel Hall photograph below where I once went to collect the Aged Parent's feoffees money but I don't remember much about it.
Hollis Tablet

Chapel Hall in Downs Row

The Chapel Hall was a place of worship for Protestant dissenters. There is a small graveyard outside. The tablet outside the Chapel Hall commemorates Thomas Hollis, who founded of a school for poor children was once situated near here.
