 Let me say before I go any further, that I am a confirmed atheist. However
it has been pointed out to me that if I include the Church of England I ought, at least, to make some mention of the many other religions of the people of Rotherham. This is not a
complete listing just some that I have found without much effort. I will add others as I come across them.
During my teenage years, you know the ones when you are struggling to find the Meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything, I used to love passing by the Unitarian Church on Moorgate
which used to have posters outside with messages like "War is Senile Delinquency". Wonderful stuff!
(If, unlike me, you are still pondering the meaning of life etc. STOP! The answer to the Ultimate Question as everybody now knows is 42.)

This may well be a christian gathering but I am not at all sure. One friend who was a spiritualist was also a devout Christian. Another friend who is a devout Christian is scared to
the depth of her soul by the spiritualist movement.
I have not been able, so far, to find any Hindu or Sikh temples, Jewish temples, Zoroastrian centres, Taoist, Confucian or Bhuddist temples or shrines, nor animist establishment in the
Borough of Rotherham. Not even a coven!
