These are available in some of the parks. Clifton Park used to have very nice putting green and crazy golf but I have not looked if they are still there. They are only open for the summer. 2004 - The crazy golf is still there but it looked in a pretty tatty state when I walked by, as for the putting green; its now part of the car park. |

which seats about 40 with hot and cold food. Parties are available. Skate shop.
Ferham Park Skatepark
For skateboards and BMX bikes.
Clifton Park Skatepark
I'm not sure when this was opened but when I passed by in the summer of 2004 it had already been well vandalised.
Wath Skate Park
This was opened on June 19 2004 at the recreation ground near to the Wath roundabout.
Maltby Skate Park
New October 2006. From Garry "Maltby's now got a concrete skateboard/bmx park (opened on friday) heard they got £100k funding. Supposed to be one of the best in Yorkshire. I went past at 11am yesterday and there were 30 - 40 youths and more arriving. Great to see no arguments, no collisions. Location is Manor field, by Maltby swimming baths." There are also plans to develop skateparks in other Rotherham parks. |

There are tennis courts in Clifton Park, Bradgate Park, Barkers Park, Coronation Park, Ferham Park, Valley Park and Victoria Park. There used to be some good tennis clubs around here but since my brother stopped playing yonks ago I've lost touch. There are often coaching sessions with in Clifton Park with a qualified tennis coach. These run on various dates from April to October during school holidays and must be booked in advance.
