Gun Sport
Rotherham is not what you would call a hotbed of the shooting fraternity. Unlike some people I have no problem with gun sports as long as they are properly conducted. Shooting targets and clays is doubtless as much fun as any other sport. I've nothing against the local shoot either as they, or their dogs, consume what they catch or deal with creatures classed as vermin. No - what I most object to is the misuse of the air rifle which is very frequent around here (and doubtless a lot of other places as well). Some parents seem to think that it is quite in order to send out children as young as ten years old armed with a potentially deadly weapon and just let them get on with it.
