Nightclubs & Discos
I have not set foot inside a nightclub or disco, oh for a hundred years or so. In my day it was the 'Adam and Eve' and 'Tiffany's'. I know the A&E became Harveys but it is now closed. Tiffs is now the Liquid and Envy club. Well here they are - the places to go for the high life in Rotherham. These regularly change hands or change names or both. I have heard of Blue Ice and Top Kat on Upper Wortley Road but know nothing about them.
NEW Turf Tavern
Turf Tavern on Corporation Street had made its return in style to Rotherham town centre on Friday 9 July 2010. New owners Glynn Brown and Sharon Ryan have combined their expertise in the industry and have worked hard over the past few months to transform the former Rudi Blue's café on Corporation Street into a venue that will immediately place itself at the top of the area's late night clubbing scene. Turf Tavern will be open six days and nights a week serving food and light entertainment in the day with Karaoke starting at 4pm, before transforming itself into Rotherham's latest music venue until late.
Thursday night's will be student night open until 3am and Friday and Saturday nights will also be open until 3am playing 70's, 80's music as well as the latest chart music. Turf Tavern has joined the Rotherham town centre Shop Local scheme and on showing your Shop Local loyalty card you will receive 10% off their food menu.

Liquid
Liquid and Diva has been revamped as Liquid and Envy. In 2009 I think it is now just Liquid. This has apparently no connection with the Club Envy which was gutted by fire but will I think cause confusion anyway. I think that this was called Tiffanys in my day. Magna
