Nightclubs & Discos
I have not set foot inside a nightclub or disco, oh for a hundred years or so. In my day it was the 'Adam and Eve' and 'Tiffany's'. I know the A&E became Harveys but it is now closed. Tiffs is now the Liquid and Envy club. Well here they are - the places to go for the high life in Rotherham. These regularly change hands or change names or both.
Turf Tavern
Turf Tavern on Corporation Street had made its return in style to Rotherham town centre on Friday 9 July 2010. New owners Glynn Brown and Sharon Ryan have combined their expertise in the industry and have worked hard over the past few months to transform the former Rudi Blue's café on Corporation Street into a venue that will immediately place itself at the top of the area's late night clubbing scene. Turf Tavern will be open six days and nights a week serving food and light entertainment in the day with Karaoke starting at 4pm, before transforming itself into Rotherham's latest music venue until late.
Thursday night's will be student night open until 3am and Friday and Saturday nights will also be open until 3am playing 70's, 80's music as well as the latest chart music. Turf Tavern has joined the Rotherham town centre Shop Local scheme and on showing your Shop Local loyalty card you will receive 10% off their food menu.

Rotherham's newest nightspot. Open from 18 November 2011 at Ship Hill, Rotherham. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9pm -3am.
Liquid and Envy
This used to be Tiffanys in my day but has been through other incarnations since them. The site and premises are up for sale and in November 3011 the operators, Luminar Leisure, went into administration. The club is still open Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. Address:- Main Street, Rotherham.
