Clifton: A Community Arts School have their Arts Celebration
Starting 13th July is a week of Arts. A number of students are performing in cross curricular assemblies.
On Wednesday 14th July some of our students are extremely excited and proud to be performing to St Ann's Junior school, Rotherham Town Centre at lunch time and then onto Herringthorpe Junior School. We are taking our Soul Band, Choir, Drama and Dance group to the Rotherham town centre and will perform from 12noon - 1.15pm. We really want to show off the great talents and potential of our students and its with thanks to the Town Centre team Janet and Kate along with Brij from Rotherham Chamber of Commerce that our endeavours can be achieved. We would like to encourage parents and the community to come and see us on the 14th July in the town centre at lunch time, we are sure you will be wowed! Tel. On 15th July our students are involved in a Arts Fair which shows off displays, exhibitions and stalls provided by all subject areas, please come and view from 3 to 5pm at our main school on Middle Lane.

Entrance by programme cost £2.50 from the parish church, local shops and on the day from Yates Newsagents or from any of the open gardens. 1940's Art's Fair

Also a fully qualified reiki practitioner offering 15 minute taster sessions and for the children, a face painter and lots of different games on the day. Also a BBQ serving the best sausages and burgers in Rotherham. Stalls from donated goods to cakes to handmade bags.

1960's day
Imperial Buildings 10am - 8pm - To not quite coincide with the anniversary of the Woodstock festival, we thought a 1960's day might be a good idea. Lou's beads will hold a bead making workshop, unit holders will enter into the spirit of the time in 1960's style clothing to the sound of the 60's. 1960 design style's and influences will be apparent.. Live music plus refreshments from 6 - 8pm - musicians to be announced.
