Rotherham Events

Sometimes finding information about what events are on in Rotherham is not always that easy and I often find out afterwards, when of course it is much too late. But Rotherham is a town and borough where there is plenty to do, especially musically, where barring grand opera, there is something for everyone.

The local press publish details of various events, shows at the Civic Theatre and acts appearing at Working Men's Clubs. Sometimes the event organisers pay for an advertisement, sometimes the information is in the copy. Rotherham Council produce brochures with full listings for the Civic Theatre and also the Green Spaces Events. I also use posters in house windows, shop windows and in the library and various other bits of paper that drop through my door from time to time. Lastly I have a few regular espondents who get in touch.

Except for the month of August when events are often a little thin on the ground because it is the traditional holiday period, there is usually plenty to do in Rotherham. I make no pretence that this is a full list of everything that is on in Rotherham each month because it is not. It is simply a list of all those that I have found.
