I have included some details that I have found about fairs, or
fayres if you will, that take place in Rotherham. These will usually be listed in the monthly
events but odd extra bits are mentioned here. I have been unable to find any Stamp Fairs or CD
& Record Fairs held in the borough so you will have to visit Don Valley Stadium or
Hillsborough Leisure Centre in Sheffield if you are interested.
Antique Fairs
Antiques Fairs are a bit thin on the ground in 2008.
Clairvoyant Fairs
Clairvoyant Fairs seem to be very popular around here. There are occasional evenings of clairvoyance held at the Civic Theatre. Other events are held at pubs and hotels throughout Rotherham.
Computer Fairs
I have not seen any computer fairs advertised in Rotherham in 2008.
Craft Fairs

Fun Fairs
Although the Statutes (pronounced Stattis) Fair closed a good many years ago there are several Fun Fairs that visit Rotherham during the season April to September. These that visited in 2007 took up temporary residence on Herringthorpe Playing Fields, Kimberworth Park, Clifton Park, Victoria Park and Thurcroft. I have no contact numbers and none of these travelling folk seem to have websites to you'll just have to watch the posters and the local press for details.
Wedding Fairs
Wedding Fayres are held fairly frequently at some of the big hotels in Rotherham, the Carlton Park Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, Best Western Elton Hotel, Hellaby Hall Hotel by various companies.
