Theatre Schools
When young I had a real fancy for a bit of acting. This led to
a part of a soldier in Caesar and Cleopatra - one line, and Old Gobbo in the Merchant of Venice - slightly more than one line, but equally glamorous. I went for an audition for the
South Yorkshire Schools Theatre which I failed and that was the end of my acting career. These are the theatre schools and training schemes that I have found in Rotherham in 2008.
Applause Drama Studio

Born to Perform
The Basement Dance Studio under Sainsburys at the Brecks Tel. 01709 540656. Classes for children 10 – 14 years every Monday commencing 10 September 2007 6.15 – 7.45pm, for children
5 – 9 years Saturdays 1 – 2.20pm.
Class Act
Class Act run weekly drama sessions for children 7 - 13 years old at Broom, Bramley, Whiston and Thorpe Hesley. Also summer workshops. Tel. 01709 382887.
