To teach children from 7 - 18, Theatre art and techniques with dance, singing and Stage craft. All children are welcome for a fee of £2 per week. "We meet every Wednesday during school terms at Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall, Thurcroft and present a show once a year. This year we are rehearsing for Annie Jnr to be presented in February 2012." The Players were formed in 2002 and are highly successful. The players from the villages surrounding Dinnington are aged 5 – 16 in junior and senior groups and each session costs £1.50 (2007). They meet Monday evenings at the Theatre juniors 6.30 – 7.30pm and seniors 7.30 – 9pm. The group is so successful that there is a waiting list to join and the players are looking for sponsors so they can extend their activities.
