Hots Shots
To teach children from 7 - 18, Theatre art and techniques with dance, singing and Stage craft. All children are welcome for a fee of £2 per week. "We meet every Wednesday during school terms at Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall, Thurcroft and present a show once a year. This year we are rehearsing for Annie Jnr to be presented in February 2012." (The) Lyric Theatre Junior Players
The Players were formed in 2002 and are highly successful. The players from the villages surrounding Dinnington are aged 5 16 in junior and senior groups and each session costs £1.50 (2007). They meet Monday evenings at the Theatre juniors 6.30 7.30pm and seniors 7.30 9pm. The group is so successful that there is a waiting list to join and the players are looking for sponsors so they can extend their activities. Rotherham Youth Theatre
Youth theatre classes to develop new performance skills and techniques The classes are designed to
encourage all to learn and enjoy together in a comfortable environment. The workshops are held at Rotherham Arts Centre on:-
- Monday: 5pm to 7pm or 7pm to 9pm for 11 to 18 year olds, cost £3.
Saturday: 10am to 11am or 11.15am to 12.15pm for 7 to 11 year olds, cost £2.50.

A new youth amateur theatre group has just started. They are called Wickersley Youngstars and will be putting on a production of 'Back to the Eighties' at Wickersley School and Sports College from October 4th - 9th 2010.
