Rotherham Community Arts

Rotherham Community Arts Team are there to help any of the seventy or more Arts Groups in the Borough of Rotherham, or to assist in the setting up of a group if you think there is a gaping hole in the Arts scene in your area. It is also part of the Schools Art Network providing support for arts activities in schools.

Rotherham Community Arts provide the following:-

• Grants for art projects. There is a annual programme of grants for communities and artists to work together on art projects. Applications are sought in October for projects planned for the following year and can be up to £800.
• Muse - a newsletter with information about local arts groups, events, performances and information.
• Rotherham Arts Register - a list of artists and art groups in the borough of Rotherham.
• The Rotherham Youth Dance Network - opportunities for dance, performance and workshops in the Borough of Rotherham.
• Advice for community groups.
• Support for artists in the Borough.
• Provision of arts activities for all ages and abilities.
