Rotherham Arts Festival
The Rotherham Arts Festival held in 2004 was extremely successful and
featured more than 60 events including talks, concerts, walks, plays and exhibitions. In 2005 and 2006 the Festival seemed rather a quiet affair and I didn't see much advertising.
For 2007 Rotherham Council are seeking greater collaboration with arts groups, creating new partnerships and upholding and expanding the arts on offer in the town.
Exhibition spaces and short performance slots are available free of charge. The festival has been reranded as the Rotherham Open Arts Festival and is run by Rotherham Culture Company www.rotherhamculture.org.
