The relative cheapness of modern day video cameras has meant that it is much easier
for anybody to become another Nick Park or Sergei Eisenstein. Looking at some people's home videos I rather think that they need a bit of help along the way.
Multimedia projects are available for young people in Rotherham helping them to create their own characters and film them using the full range of filming techniques. This includes the stop motion techniques used in the Wallace and Grommit films (not to mention the plasticine characters) and using video camera linked to computers to compile frame by frame into a movie. The scenes are then edited and music is added using software instruments. These are then recorded on a DVD to bore all your friends with.
