Comment:I live on West Bawtry Road, in the houses opposite Dunhelm. Very near to what was Canklow House. There is nothing wrong with this row of houses, starting at Canklow roundabout and ending near the Holiday Inn, near Junction 33 so it would be nice if the 10 bob millionaire who wrote the page containing the nasty comment was removed from the page which explains about the closure of Rotherham Main Colliery. Webmaster - I've absolutely no idea what she's on about!! And she's THAT bothered she hasn't left her email. Jul 25, 2011

Comment: Your review of the new stadium needs updating, the final design of the stadium is not boring,it is infact unique in this country,it will also be a town centre landmark for. many years ,and probably the kickstart the town centre needs. We need the multiplex cinema now! Jul 20, 2011

Comment: Just a quick message to agree with Kev about Demure gentlemens club, Ship Hill, Rotherham. I can honestly say that Sat 11th June between 2 till 3am was the most painfull experience I have ever encountered. Terrible atmosphere, overpriced drinks, bad club layout and absolutely disgusting toilets which surely contain more bacteria than Blacknurn Meadows sewage works Jun 15, 2011

Comment: I was looking at an old postcard belonging to my grandmother and it shows a photo of the old mill at Blue Mans Bower whiston meadows,my grandad and grandma lived there for a while at the end of the last century, she always referred to the place as the hell hole, which was the locals name for it,they moved from there to Duncan Street in Brinsworth and then to Atlas Street, both houses were the property of John Brown the owner of Rotherham Main Colliery, where both my grandads worked. Comment:I would like to inform any one planning to visit "Demure Gentleman's Club" on Ship Hill, Rotherham - This club is seedy, their's no atmosphere and you will have to wip your feet on the way out! The selection of girls is extremly poor and in me & my friends opinion their is only 1 girl (maybe 2) thats worth going to see. We went for my mates birthday & were very disappointed. I would not recommend this club. They promote events and a suductive atmosphere & none of this is true. Jun 13, 2011

Comment: Fascinating site and messages. I'm the descendant of Charles Herbert Moss, partner of Hart Moss & Co accountants, and Francis Charles Moss, manager of the Rotherham Forge and Rolling Mills and I'm interested in information about any of these. Relevant places if you know anything about these are Carr House, Phoenix PLace, 7 Clifton Lane and Wickersley Hall. thank you Gerald Moss Email May 6, 2011

Comment: Hi, I am the grand daughter of late Thomas Speed who was the older brother of late Robert Speed of the subject store, High Street, Rotherham. I am interested in tracing any descendant of this family as my mother, the late Lucy Speed, was the cousin of the late John Speed, the late Robert's son. Thanking you in anticipation, Margaret Priddy Jan 10, 2011
