"The label was set up in 1995 by Amadeus Mozart, Andy Pickles and Paul Janes for Music Factory Entertainment. The label was set up to put out material that was too hard and banging for
major labels to understand. Tony De Vit and the sound of Trade were the inspirations behind the sound of Tidy and over a short period of time soon became the biggest selling hard house
label in Europe. In fact Tidy were the first label to use the name Hard House within in their label identity. The label now sells over a quarter of a million units a year which is not bad
for a small independent hard house label based in the back streets of Rotherham."
There are impressive studios and state of the art art mixing desks. Mastermix makes aerobics tapes.
There is a new venture www.tidy.com (you will have to be very, very patient connecting to this site for the first time) selling records, DJ equipment and everything Tidy, from T-shirts to ring tones and logos. It is planned to open Tidy.com franchise stores in all of the major cities in the UK.
