Open Friday 9 July 2010. Turf Tavern made its return in style to Rotherham town centre last Friday. New owners Glynn Brown and Sharon Ryan have combined their expertise in the industry and have worked hard over the past few months to transform the former Rudi Blue's café on Corporation Street into a venue that will immediately place itself at the top of the area's late night clubbing scene. Turf Tavern will be open six days and nights a week serving food and light entertainment in the day with Karaoke starting at 4pm, before transforming itself into Rotherham's latest music venue until late. Thursday night's will be student night open until 3am and Friday and Saturday nights will also be open until 3am playing 70's, 80's music as well as the latest chart music. Turf Tavern has joined the Rotherham town centre Shop Local scheme and on showing your Shop Local loyalty card you will receive 10% off their food menu.

Urban Milk is a milkshake and waffle bar which has opened on Eastwood Lane (top level of the markets). It and offers an astonishing 1,500 combinations of milkshake flavours and toppings, from the familiar vanilla and strawberry to more unusual lemon meringue and peanut butter flavours. Its waffles include fresh fruit, chocolate and strawberry sundaes, and customers can choose to eat in or takeaway.

At Jan 2009 I can find no telephone Fax. or email addresses to contact for the new community health centre. Information online indicates that there is no visitor parking or disabled parking on site at this time. All the services previously operating from Doncaster Gate Hospital except for the two GPs' surgeries have moved here.
