The Rotherham Partnership
The Rotherham Partnership is an organisation of various
partners including Rotherham District Council which has various aims. The 'Better Together for Rotherham' standard is to promote business involvement in the work of the
partnership and to recognise the valuable contribution that the Rotherham Business Community makes when supporting others.
In July 2005 the Partnership held a Future of Rotherham conference where the Borough's new Community Strategy was outlined. This included plans for the next five years and the
'2020 Vision'; all of which are intended to meet central government and local targets to make Rotherham "A better place to live learn and work"
. Cynic that I am, those
words 'central government targets' raised quite a few spectres.
